Rector’s Welcome Letter

The Rev. Clifford Brown

The Rev. Clifford Brown

Welcome to Christ Church Quincy’s presence on the internet! Thanks for visiting this site. We hope it lets you know that we are a lively, joyful community of faith. Some of our parishioners are lifelong Episcopalians and others are new not just to the Episcopal Church, but to any church. We are eager to welcome everyone, no matter where you may be on your spiritual journey.

A church community is a place of welcome and nurture, as well as challenge and empowerment, to reach out to the needs of the world, while finding within ourselves reservoirs of God’s grace in who we are, not just what we do, and wherever anyone may be on their faith journey, they discover that there is a place at God’s table for them.. We hope that you will find all of this, and more, here in a diverse community embracing all people, across a vast spectrum of cultural, ethnic, racial, gender, sexual orientation, and economic backgrounds, as full members in the body of Christ.

If this is your first visit to our web site, I invite you to join us in worship and fellowship at any one of our services, social times, or special services, or perhaps a simple visit to one of our historic Churchyards to enjoy the beauty of God in creation. I like to think of our churchyards as quiet oasis in the heart of this vibrant city of Quincy. Please visit and speak with us in person, or contact me by email: cbrown@christchurchquincy.org

We know that God is at work here. Come and see!

Blessings, Cliff +
