Christ Church Quincy strives to be a community where all are welcome, trust is present, risks are taken, and where our gifts and graces enable us to be who God knows us to be. There are many ways to participate at CCQ. We welcome the addition of your energy to areas of interest that call to you if you have an idea that adds to our parish community. We also rely on a variety of sources for financial offerings to fund the cost of doing mission and ministry to the Glory of God.

Stewardship is a spiritual commitment to giving of our time, talent and treasure, and it is based on our belief that we give because we receive. All that we have comes from God and for this we thank God in many ways. Stewardship goes beyond a pledge of financial support – it is a way of life for Christians that is at the center of their relationship with God. The scripture is filled with teachings about the importance of giving and doing so out of a spirit of generosity rather than mere duty.

Every gift, regardless of size, will be needed to sustain our growing menu of programs and ministries and is valued.  All official members of our Church Community pledge a portion of their income on an annual basis. The Vestry of CCQ relies on the pledged amounts to determine the annual budget for the Church.  As a self-supported entity, we rely on each other in many ways; pledging financial support is one of them.
