The Sunday School at Christ Church meets weekly to provide a safe, nurturing environment for the youth of our parish as they learn Christian values, develop a commitment to helping those in need, and garner a sense of belonging to the greater Christ Church community. We encourage the members of our school to celebrate each others strengths and individuality and to overlook each others weaknesses. We strive to provide an environment that is inclusive, loving and appreciative of Gods grace and blessings.
Sunday School meets in the undercroft at 9:15am. At 10:00am, children will join their parent(s) upstairs for services. We preach tolerance for and understanding of people of other faiths, and we celebrate those who have achieved greatness through loving sacrifice. In partnership with other members of the Christ Church community, the youth of the parish are led to understand the Episcopal faith, Gods infinite love, and the blessings bestowed upon them by the support and guidance of their families. The goal is to lead them forward until such a time when they are ready to publicly declare their faith by the sacrament of confirmation.
We welcome children of all ages; however, our program is structured for age three to twelve. For more information, or to enroll your child in the Sunday School, please use the web contact form below.
